Watermelon-Lime Refresher
Serves 12
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
6 thin slices fresh ginger
1 Moon Dust Large Watermelon
Chilled club soda
Mint to garnish
1. Bring sugar, water, & ginger to a simmer. Remove from heat. Stir to dissolve. Cover and let steep for 10 mins.
2. Cut rind from watermelon. Cube flesh. Blend until smooth. Strain into a pitcher. Strain simple syrup into pitcher. Stir. Chill until cold.
3. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice. Pour watermelon mixture to fill 3/4 of the glass. Top with club soda. Stir gently. Garnish with mint. Enjoy!
